I have written extensively about my initial work on developing homeopathy Repertorization<\/strong><\/em><\/a> software and more recently, on Case Analysis Using RAG<\/strong><\/em><\/a>\u00a0and using Semantic Search<\/strong><\/em><\/a>\u00a0to find rubrics.<\/p>\n

As a student of homeopathy, I have been continuously doing research on how to improve the quality of homeopathy case analysis and in particular, how Generative AI<\/strong><\/em> can help build an \u201cintelligent\u201d<\/strong><\/em> homeopathy software.\u00a0 <\/span>The ultimate goal is to help homeopaths improve their quality of service, and thus increase the success rate of homeopathy!<\/p>\n

Finally, after a lot of hard work, I have implemented a tool that I strongly believe will help homeopaths (both beginners and experienced doctors) in their day-to-day work. I have been fortunate to get the support of some experienced homeopaths in implementing this tool and I am grateful to them!<\/p>\n

When I started this project, my primary focus was only on implementing intelligent \u201ccase analysis\u201d<\/strong><\/em>, where the system would analyze a patient\u2019s case record (including lab reports and images) and suggest an appropriate remedy for the patient. When I discussed my idea with a few homeopath friends, they were both excited and skeptical about the idea, and they suggested including a few additional features that would be useful to them on a regular basis. So my product feature list kept growing steadily!<\/p>\n

Finally, after several months of hard work, the product is ready for official release and I will be launching it soon.<\/p>\n

In today\u2019s article and in the following articles, I will go over the features supported in my software.<\/p>\n

Comparing Remedies<\/h3>\n

After thoroughly analyzing a case, and after proper repertorization has been done, we usually arrive at the top 2 or 3 remedies. Before selecting the final remedy to be included in the prescription, we usually go through Materia Medica<\/strong><\/em> to understand the subtle differences between the remedies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Here is a potential use case as implemented in my software. See the following image:<\/p>\n

We can enter up to 4 remedies in the dialog and optionally specify some context for comparison. Let us consider a simple case first. Assume we want to understand the key features of Sarsaparilla<\/strong><\/em>. Here we are not comparing it with any other remedy. When you click \u201cCompare\u201d<\/strong><\/em> button, the system generates the information shown in the “<\/strong>Result: “<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0area.<\/p>\n

As you can see, the system has synthesized some keynotes and guiding symptoms of Sarsaparilla<\/strong><\/em> in a quick reference format! There is a lot more than what is visible (you can scroll down to view more).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Next, let us ask the system to compare Sarsaparilla<\/strong><\/em>, Berberis Vulgaris<\/strong><\/em> and Cantharis<\/strong><\/em> in the context of Urinary Tract Infections (UTI)<\/strong><\/em>. Here is the corresponding output:<\/p>\n

This comparison is quite informative and useful since the system presents the details in a condensed and structured form.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u201cContext\u201d<\/strong><\/em> field can be used, as in this example, to focus on a particular aspect of the remedies being compared.<\/p>\n

Here is another example:<\/p>\n

In this example, we are comparing Nat Mur<\/strong> <\/em>and Lycopodium<\/strong><\/em> in terms of \u201cbrooding\u201d<\/strong><\/em> (a Mind symptom). Note how nicely the system compares the two remedies, including emotional triggers and how brooding may be expressed by the patient. Such nuances are quite helpful in differentiating between remedies.<\/p>\n

Here is our final example. Here, the context mentions a body part.<\/p>\n

We know that Ruta G<\/strong><\/em> and Euphrasia<\/strong><\/em> are commonly used for eye symptoms. The comparison presented by the system is quite user-friendly and provides the key characteristics in a crisp form.<\/p>\n

As I mentioned earlier, the screenshot shows only a part of the generated information. More can be seen by scrolling up\/down.<\/p>\n

It is possible to save the generated information in a file for later use and for printing, if needed.<\/p>\n

This \u201cRemedy Comparison\u201d<\/strong><\/em> feature is just one of the several features included in my software. In future articles I will go over the others so that you can get a good understanding of how the software will be of use to homeopaths in their daily routine.<\/p>\n
