\u201cCyclic\u201d<\/strong><\/em> is a new function introduced in the recent Wolfram Mathematica 14.3<\/strong><\/em><\/a> release. It represents a repeating sequence, something that we encounter often.<\/p>\n

For example, how do we represent the sequence {1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4\u2026}<\/strong><\/em>? \u201cCyclic\u201d<\/strong><\/em> captures this idea. In other words \u201cCyclic[{1,2,3,4}]\u201d<\/strong><\/em> denotes the same repeating sequence as above.<\/p>\n

Other examples:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

weekdays = Cyclic[{“Mon”, “Tue”, “Wed”, “Thu”, “Fri”, “Sat”, “Sun\u201d}];<\/strong><\/p>\n

How do we access the elements of a Cyclic<\/strong><\/em> object? See the figure below.<\/p>\n
