It represents a repeating sequence, something that we encounter often.<\/p>\n<p>For example, how do we represent the sequence <em><strong>{1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4\u2026}<\/strong><\/em>? <em><strong>\u201cCyclic\u201d<\/strong><\/em> captures this idea. In other words <em><strong>\u201cCyclic[{1,2,3,4}]\u201d<\/strong><\/em> denotes the same repeating sequence as above.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Other examples:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>weekdays = Cyclic[{&#8220;Mon&#8221;, &#8220;Tue&#8221;, &#8220;Wed&#8221;, &#8220;Thu&#8221;, &#8220;Fri&#8221;, &#8220;Sat&#8221;, &#8220;Sun\u201d}];<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>musicnotes = Cyclic[{&#8220;C&#8221;, &#8220;D&#8221;, &#8220;E&#8221;, &#8220;F&#8221;, &#8220;G&#8221;, &#8220;A&#8221;, \u201cB\u201d}];<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>How do we access the elements of a <em><strong>Cyclic<\/strong><\/em> object?
