Convenient, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n<p>In the second instance, it generates the correct formula for the given input. The third shows that we can write a compound expression involving two (or more) <em><strong>FreeformEvaluate<\/strong><\/em> calls since each is an expression that returns an answer.<\/p>\n<p>What about evaluating formulas as part of the natural language input? That is also possible. The second example uses an extra argument <em><strong>HoldForm<\/strong><\/em>. This forces <em><strong>Mathematica<\/strong><\/em> to convert the input to a <em><strong>Mathematica<\/strong><\/em> expression but stops short of evaluating that expression.<\/p>\n<p>The third example returns a properly formatted <em><strong>Mathematica<\/strong><\/em> expression for the given input. This is convenient because we don\u2019t have to remember the exact syntax.<\/p>\n<p>The last example returns a <em><strong>TimeObject<\/strong><\/em> since <em><strong>\u201c5 pm\u201d<\/strong><\/em> represents <em><strong>Time<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>What about some general queries that have nothing to do with <em>Maths<\/em> for formulas? That is a nice image.<\/p>\n<p>The examples so far show the diverse capabilities of <em><strong>FreeformEvaluate<\/strong><\/em>. Does it mean it can handle every question we can think of? I don\u2019t think so.
