In the last article I started to write about the Homeopathy application I have built. In particular, I explained the “Compare Remedies” feature that will be useful to homeopaths as part of their prescribing routine.
In today’s article, let me go over another feature called “Lab Report Analysis”. This feature allows the doctor to share a patient’s lab reports with the system and get a detailed analysis.
Details of the report can be entered in the top left area (you can optionally drag and drop a file). When you click the “Analyze” button, the system goes through the submitted details and presents its analysis in the “Interpretation:” area.
The system gives its comments on each of the parameters. When you scroll down, you can see some more of the analysis:
It is possible to include images as well (click the “Open File” button or drag and drop the image). The following screen shows an image of “Thrush”.
As you can see from the system’s analysis, it has correctly identified this as “oral thrush”, and additionally gives some advice on how to handle this.
Images can be given separately like in this example, or along with other text-based reports.
Notice that the system does not mention anything specific to homeopathy as part of “Lab Report Analysis”. It only tries to determine the underlying pathology and offer some advice/suggestions. This feature will also be of significant value to a homeopath since it can save some time and more importantly, it might detect some issues that a less experienced doctor might not. The homeopath can use this analysis along with other patient-specific symptomatology in order to arrive at the correct prescription.
Have a great day!
